A house with history, furnished for today
Behind a façade from the 1950s and 1970s, modern design meets the original structure: a spacious lobby with large glass doors, quiet rooms, our dining area and the Reiss Bar. We have been welcoming guests here since 2012 – as a non-smoking hotel and as part of Golden Tulip.
Whether you are in Kassel on business or for pleasure, the KulturBahnhof opposite is just a few steps from the Königsstraße shopping street, museums and galleries. The Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe with its Hercules monument is an easy tram ride away.

When can I check in and when do I have to check out?
Your room is ready from 2 pm; on the day of departure, please vacate it by 11 am. If you would like to stay longer, please speak to reception: until 4 pm we charge 50% of the room rate.
Can I park at the hotel?
Yes. The hotel’s own car park behind the building is free for hotel guests. Please register at reception on arrival, where you will receive your parking permit.
How do I get from Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe ICE station to the hotel?
Take RegioTram RT5 or RT9 to Kassel Hauptbahnhof (KulturBahnhof) – it takes about five minutes, and the hotel is directly opposite. A taxi takes around 10 to 15 minutes.
Is there Wi-Fi in the hotel?
Yes, free of charge throughout the hotel – in your room and in all public areas, with no access code.
When and where is breakfast served?
In our dining area: Monday to Friday from 6:30 to 10:00 am, at weekends and on public holidays from 7:30 to 11:00 am. Breakfast in your room or to take away can be ordered at reception by 11 pm the evening before.
Is there a gym and a sauna?
Yes. The gym and sauna on the lower floor are open around the clock.
Does the hotel have a room for guests with disabilities?
Yes, one room is equipped for guests with disabilities. Please contact us before booking so that we can discuss your requirements.
